ONE CAN SEE THE STRATEGY THAT THE NPP IS TRYING TO USE UNDER THEIR DESPERATE SITUATION WHERE EVERYTHING IS NOW GOING WELL FOR THE GOVERNMENT AND THUS GHANAIANS.

The arrogant ones are still espousing their kind of nonsense that sent them packing into opposition. The cedi was actually at a staggering junk state of GHC17 to the dollar. Inflation was 54%. Import cover was less than $8.9bn. The lending rate was about 30%. Look, the debt to GDP ratio was above 65%. What is this journalist talking about? He and his government couldn't save the situation. They ended up depleting the state coffers. Some of them have fled the country under the pretext of going for medical check-up. If it were that easy to turn the corner, why didn't they do so? The less they talk, the better for them. Today, the cedi stands at about GHC11 to the dollar. The rate of inflation has scaled down to 5.4%. Import cover has risen to over $13bn. The debt to GDP is now 45%. The lending rate is about 18.5%. When Nkrumah goes to the fuel pump, he gets it at a much much lower price per litre than when they were in power. They enjoy the stable power supply, but he still goes round to discredit the government. The NPP left behind a heap of debt for Ghanaians to pay. The Finance Minister just paid $709m dollars to redeem our status. Today, the credit rating authorities have rated us B+ with the best performing currency. What is Oppong Nkrumah saying. Arrogance and filth. Give credit where it is worth it. You sat down with over 100 ministers, and you were all clueless as to how to revamp the economy. It's not about big talk, Nkrumah. You failed and miserably too.
