Why do you need a number plate before you can insure your car?

It should be the other way around: insure your car before it can be registered and this is ho it is done:

1) You insure the vehicle.

2) Your insurer gives you a code (in parts of Europe, this is an 8-digit number)
3) You go to the DVLA and the register the vehicle, using the code that the insurer gave you. Remember that the DVLA offices have access to the insurers' database and will check the code, so no 'wagadiri' can take place.

By that method: NO INSURANCE, NO VEHICLE REGISTRATION.

The Ghanaian methodology explains why so many vehicles without insurance are on the roads: as long as a vehicle has a number plate, who'll care to insure it.

Another "Bawa Rock Company". It was registered in 2015. Core mandate was farming but in 2025 change to vehicle number plate printer.
