  It might be a record but may not be good for the player in terms of 'personal growth and/or further career development'. Hopefully he will be able to wrestle his favorite position from Doku and Foden.

  Even Partey's €50million from Atheletico to Arsenal 7 years ago may be more value than today's Seyenyo transfer cost. For better and fairer comparison you should have stated the years so that we can account for Inflation and those costs are worth.
