Subsidise petrol to make it cost less, this will drive down prices and encourage alot and alot job creation, more consumer spend for you to make your money back through taxation.
Ghanaians will have alot to money left to save for projects.
It also strengthens the cedi against the dollar, inflation...so you don't need to artificially pump billions of dollars to create artificial strong cedi. Instead use it to subsidise petrol. Cedi will stabilise naturally.

They focused on dollar and not petrol and wonder why economy never worked.

Ghanaians have to wake up and start asking the relevant questions. Today and elsewhere on GhanaWeb, an MP for New Juabeng South was lamenting about lack of support from his NDC MP friends. Juxtaposing these two reports, I am tempted to ask if contesting to represent the people in parliament is an avenue for making money and nothing else. How can an MP spend on average Ghs 30,000 monthly on funerals? Come and think about it. This MP represents a constituency that is predominantly Muslim and we are made to understand that, Muslim funerals are usually low-key. If therefore a Muslim spends that much on funerals, how much are MPs from Christian communities spending in a month? Having said that, how much is the monthly salary cum allowances of an MP? This is one of the reasons why we accuse politicians of unbridled corruption.
