And by the way I think you will be better off leaving these space to others and setting up a preaching table at the market or the streets to be more effective

The government should take over the inter city transportation system from the GPRTU cos they know what's going on and they are doing nothing. So the government should take over so that there won't be any private drivers on the road or better still they will be out of business so that learn some sense

  You are right: in Germany for instance, ALL public inner-city transportation (buses /trams) are operated by the town/city authorities (the so called Stadtwerke i.e Public Services / Municipal Utility).
  
  This ensures very very effective and reliable transportation system to the effect that one may not need a private vehicle at all, if one works within the city they live. Trams run on 10 minutes takt and buses 15 minutes takt, except on Sundays and holidays, when buses would run in 30 minutes takt, ie twice in an hour.

  Has the recent malpractices unfolding at the STC station at Circle reached the ears of their officials. Or it's business as usual, with these station gurus doing what seem right to them.
  The problem at stick now is the over charging practice that takes effect after the first two or three buses. When awaiting passengers seem to exceed two or three next buses, then business takes off. The normal 110ghs tickets immediately reach 200ghs from the loading boys, while the counter serves some maximum of 10 tickets at regular rate. Would someone come to the aid of the vulnerable.

  Our government's seems to fail us in this sector. Under their watch we have buses rotting at the metro mass yard in Kumasi, buses than can be repaired by these magazine artisans are been sold as scrap. Please Mr. President let the reset reach the transport sector, well meaning Ghanaians are suffering. This morning I saw MTTD officials detaining trotro drivers asking them to go and bring their licenses at the Westhills mall overpass, imagine stopping the vehicle that has passengers in them without finding alternative means of commute for them. In the end all they need is money for koko. Just collect your money and let them take the passengers to work. I always say the Ghana Police Service is a criminal organisation in uniform. No worries der Karma always finds them.
