Only God knows in his heart why he didn’t do that and it will hunt him for sometime. I know he was afraid of a backlash from these Arab people if his actions could dent them the chance to play in the finals after 50 years. Too many fouls against the Nigerians and some of those fouls were unjustified.

If the officiating was balanced, nobody would have said anything but he's not the one that asked Nigerians not to score their penalties.

He should however not be allowed to officiate any serious match ever again, bringing in a Ghanaian to officiate Nigeria's match against Morocco was a bad decision from the beginning knowing there's no love lost, but only the Ghanaian agreed to do the dirty job

Sure Nigeria didn't play as well as they should have, combined with Osimeh being out of position and being out of sorts captaining the side.

Sure it's football, it happens. Referees make mistakes and make bad calls sometimes on purpose and sometimes by mistake. But let him own it and not be praised for messing up so bad.
