Here , Akita mining obtained Explanation mining certificate to explore the land for gold . No large scale mining certificate. Then Akonta mining ( Wontumi) subcontracting to both small scale mining miners and illegal miners. It’s Forest Reserve. So you can do exploration on large scale and small mining. But Akonta Mining is a large scale Mining company.

You ndc first regime under this same John Mahama burnt all Chairman Wontumi earth moving equipment yet he still survived, the next npp government will make Ghana hell for you people even your innocent ones will surfer, yes that one we can assure you 100%, so do your worse & pray you be in power for ever but when it swings one day, I don't know how to describe it, some of you will wish you don't exist. I think the state should hold every attorney general who pursue bad case that waste state resources responsible by so doing they will think twice before witch hunting. I am a card bearing npp member but never voted in the last election. If government changes back to npp . Omg, what the fake npp will do will be beyond magic. Corruption cases will be fast tracked to 24hrs judgement. Let us call a spade a spade.we have enough politicians in this 4th republic who fattened their pockets, bank balance, family wealth whilst in office that needs to be investigated.we can't just talk about crimes of the previous government only. Crime has no expire date. The law is the law as a chief justice once said. Let's set up a public tribunal to investigate all office holders of the 4th republic. That we can call resetting ghana. Dont prune the bad branches of a tree and still leave other bad branches hanging.

  These cases if you don’t get the story well, you might think the defendant is doing well. So far for the two cases. In Adu- Boahene case, he mimicked real transactions with a fake invoice and transferred money into private accounts. So when you challenge Adu- Boahene, he will show the real transaction invoices and payments. If we buy something from ABC, we put invoice here and we make payments there. Then Adu Boahene will follow same path but then transfer the money into private accounts at the end and into private companies he is director of . Wontumi and Akonta mining do not actually dig the ground for gold. He buys forest reserve to say he is doing exploration ming. He then sub contracts to small scale miners to do the digging, where illegal miners will also enter there. But he will clear the forest , build small houses and provide security in the reserve forest for the small scale miners.
