  Instead of wasting our resources to organize a conference (Talk Shop) to discuss issues affecting the so called "Global Majority" it will be better to limit the discussions to contemporary African issues and how to unite the continent to withstand external shocks. We have just seen what happened in Venezuela. Is there any African country which can withstand a similar attack? The answer I guess is no (not a single country) despite being independent nation states. In unity lies strength. Currently, 1.4 billion Africans are held hostage by 54 selfish African Heads of States who don't want to surrender their sovereignty for a unified strong Africa. This is where the problem lies Mrs Joyce Bawah.
