Ghanaians will have alot to money left to save for projects.
It also strengthens the cedi against the dollar, inflation...so you don't need to artificially pump billions of dollars to create artificial strong cedi. Instead use it to subsidise petrol. Cedi will stabilise naturally.

She is at the Southern Detention Center in Nevada.

Note that they were detained for different offences: Ofori Atta on immigration offences, and Sedinam on extradition request from Ghana Govt.

I think Mr. Nii Armah's suggestion that the arrest and detention of Miss. Sedina Tamakloe-Attionu in the US does not guarantee her immediate extradition to Ghana should be viewed as unworthy of anyone's serious concern. In the first place, the charges were not based on a political witch hunt, nor was there any political interference in the execution of the case. Secondly, she was tried under the laws of Ghana in absentia, found guilty of the crimes against her and was sentenced in absentia to 10 years' imprisonment. Mr. Nii Armah, if her case were anything but not criminal, I could not agree with you more, that Miss. Sedina Tamakloe-Attionu arrest and detention in the US does not guarantee her immediate extradition to Ghana. Unfortunately, her case was criminal in nature and under the circumstance, what information could her lawyer/s have to litigate and prolong the process of the case? I think they have nothing.
In addition, since US laws have no jurisdiction in Ghana and since her crime was committed in Ghana, there would be no trial of her in the US Court system for her to admit the crimes nor to plead not guilty to the crimes she's been charged with. I am certain that US courts are not going to spend more time than necessary to process her extradition with alacrity.
