  Dr Kwame Nkrumah also did so much for the north as well interms of education:
  Ghana College, Tamale, Government secondary school, Tamale, Bawku, Yendi, Lawra, Wa, Nalerigu Damongo secondary schools etc.. You are right Kwame Nkrumah was a visionary leader. He did all this in less than 9years.
  What a big loss he has been to the nation!!! His compulsory policy of education for all children gave some of us especially from the north the opportunity to go to school. Otherwise my father had no clue about education and didn’t see the need for his children to go to school.
  
  May GOD ALMIGHTY give him wisdom , anchor and victory to be able to do this again with sustained efforts.
  Don't forget Acherensua Secondary School (Achisco) which was the only secondary school in Ahafo until 1970 when Busia converted Hwidiem and Mim Training Colleges to secondary schools. And other schools like Yaa Asantewaah Secondary School, Konongo Odumasi Secondary School, and many more. You can easily identify the schools by the similar buildings, which were constructed under the Education Trust Fund. Nkrumah was selfless, and a visioner. Up to the present, nobody has come out to accuse him of corruption or kalabule. He left no mansion or assets. Akuffo Addo family and the Akyem traitors are thieves, and with fake British vocal accents.------------------

  Dr Kwame Nkrumah also did so much for the north as well interms of education:
  Ghana College, Tamale, Government secondary school, Tamale, Bawku, Yendi, Lawra, Wa, Nalerigu Damongo secondary schools etc.. You are right Kwame Nkrumah was a visionary leader. He did all this in less than 9years.
  What a big loss he has been to the nation!!! His compulsory policy of education for all children gave some of us especially from the north the opportunity to go to school. Otherwise my father had no clue about education and didn’t see the need for his children to go to school.
  
  May GOD ALMIGHTY give him wisdom , anchor and victory to be able to do this again with sustained efforts.
  Don't forget Acherensua Secondary School (Achisco) which was the only secondary school in Ahafo until 1970 when Busia converted Hwidiem and Mim Training Colleges to secondary schools. And other schools like Yaa Asantewaah Secondary School, Konongo Odumasi Secondary School, and many more. You can easily identify the schools by the similar buildings, which were constructed under the Education Trust Fund. Nkrumah was selfless, and a visioner. Up to the present, nobody has come out to accuse him of corruption or kalabule. He left no mansion or assets. Akuffo Addo family and the Akyem traitors are thieves, and with fake British vocal accents.=========

  Very good that our international airport is named after Emmanuel Kwesi Kotoka who redeemed Ghana from the oppressive rule of Kwame Nkrumah. Nkrumah was great in terms of developing the country. No one can take that from him. But the truth was that Ghanaians were oppressed under his leadership. There was no freedom of expression, many political opponents were inprisoned, Ghana was a hard core socialist country, cooking oil, flour, rice and other necessities of life were rationed through the GNTC state owned shops. Families were given note books were the quantity of commodities received from the GNTC stores were meticulously listed and stamped. The Ghana Young Pioneers were used to spy on families and to report irregularities in towns and villages. In short Ghanaians were living in fear and could not express themselves freely. The military take over led by General Kotoka brought an end to the hardships under Nkrumah. Had the military not taken over, Ghana will certainly be like North Korea with one of Nkrumah's sons ruling us today (in other words Ghana will be a dynasty). General Kotoka deserve a place in Ghana's history. The democracy and freedom which we are enjoying today could be attributed to the deeds of Kotoka. For these reasons I think it is an honour to name the airport after him. Kotoka played a pivotal role in the history of our beloved country, Ghana.

  Ghanaian authorities should remove the biggest traitor’s name from the airport. Rename the airport after true African heroes Lt. Arthur and Yeboah who valiantly killed the coward and imperialist puppet Kotoka. Or let’s give credit where credit is due by honoring one of the great world leaders of all times, Dr OSAGYEFO KWAME NKRUMAH by renaming the airport after him. Whoever disagrees with me and the majority of Ghanaians should go and construct an airport to honor their so-called hero wherever they desire but definitely not in the nation’s capital Accra. Past successive administrations have failed to rename the Accra International Airport after Nkrumah because of ignorance, incompetence and pure hatred for Nkrumah. I hope the current government will make a bold decision in the interest of the country. NKRUMAH NEVER DIES!
