  Abuse of the system by lawyers and judges/magistrates are the primary cause of the pile up. There are too many adjournments. If a case like testate runs for three years or more without resolution, we have self inflicted pile up. Cases like that should be concluded in not more than three sittings.

How can a someone would be served to appear before court for proceedings and the defendant refused to come to court three consecutive time and the Judges is still entering it. And my sister foolish Lawyer was also there smiling saying most grateful

  It is only during Paul Baffoe-Bonnie’s tenure as CJ that a judgement will be reversed when all the parties concerned have already left the court’s premises and were on their way to their various destinations. And this CJ has been so cowardly that he is scared to challenge the judgment of his subordinate, in the same manner that he is scared of a convict who, he claims, will return to attack him if he spends fewer years in jail. What a warped mind this CJ has.
