They started constructing a huge overpass they knew would involve people's lands without first securing those lands. The big building was started long before their ugly bridge. Engage with the owners and pay up. The rot was started under NPP. Mr Agbozah, you have inherited a conundrum. Get your facts right and engage them. Looking at the size of that building in that prime area, I am surprised the owners are not demanding twice as much. How much does an apartment cost at Adjiringano?

Have you seen the size of the building - the number of stores and apartments it contains? Have you fairly engaged with the owners? Eminent domain gives you a right to seize a property but you have to pay adequate compensation.

And at the conception of the idea of constructing the road, what did the government do? Was it not required of the government to trace the land owners to pay them compensation for the empty lands? If government failed to compensate them for the lands, don't they have the right to develop the lands? Hon Agbodza, pls l don't get your point. Pls come again. I dare say that both properties would be deemed less than half the price they're currently seeking. No government anywhere should be blackmailed to stop national development and neither should Ghana.

Anyway, who granted T.T Brothers and others permits to put up their buildings on land between Tema Steel Works and the main road? That expanses of land was left there for the road expansion until unscrupulous officers grant current occupiers permits. Cause an investigation into this.
