As things stand, a president appoints a lone individual, who then surrounds themselves with cronies and lackeys to form the osp. Apart from his record as having attended a fancy law school and won some cases defending alleged criminals, what superior virtue or track record in anticorruption crusade has Kissi Agyabeng demonstrated to merit his position? What moral authority does he have to declare himself and lackeys as the long-awaited messiah, without whom Ghana would fail? This would-be messiah was a criminal defence attorney, who represented alleged perpetrators of corruption. One such alleged corrupt guys has been made a director at the OSP. And now he says what?
An office with the mandate the osp has should never be run by a single individual at the top. Instead, a commission of eminent people, with outstanding track records in law, anticorruption crusade and clean backgrounds should do the job.
So, disrespectfully, Mr SP, take your whiny, preachy effusions and shove them down the latrine!
