Lithium Manganese Bauxite Graphite Iron Ore etc will generate more jobs and also make the sector Botswana depended only on Diamonds and with the low prices for past 4 years economy struggling.South Africa which mines platinum is enjoying once the gold production reduced Other minerals are mined too creating massive employments
New laws must favour suistainable benefits for everyone.Gold alone cannot solve our economic development needs
What if Gold prices drop in done few years please ask Ashanti Goldfields Corporation.Small scale mining production needs to be replaced by big mined backed with massive investment .
We live in a competitive Gold sector Guinea Cote D Ivoire opening new mines and attracting huge exploration .

Oppong, stop this Akim mafia thing. I am an Akim and also suffered under the Akuffo Addo ,bawumia led government. Amoabeng is from Kukurantumi and yet, they collapsed his bank. All Akims suffered under that government.
