Complacency!! Keep tolerating people's arbitrary movement at state events just for the fear of public backlash until the president or a VIP is harmed one day. Stan Dogbe, in my opinion, didn't do anything wrong. It's about time Ghanaians sit up and respect protocol as well as its enforcement. In the days of Jerry Rawlings's presidency, these haphazard and disorderly nuisance was not exhibited during state and other important functions, not even at chiefs durbar, funerals or family gatherings. These days we tend to be too playful and, it is so worrying. The usual ghanaian memory myopia is at play, thus, making us suddenly forget that president Mahama was once ambushed by a gun wielding imbecile at church service during his first presidency. Prevention is better than Saturday morning quarter backing. It's about time the president and his NDC know that they can't please everyone, no matter what!
