Yep. Pulmonary embolism is the number one killer after long flights. Blood flow through the legs and lower extremities slows down very dramatically when sitting down in a plane for such long journey. The slow movement of blood causes tiny clots to form in the legs. These clots rapidly move into the veins within the lungs when the person starts to walk after the flight. The legs muscles help to propel the clots easily into the lung veins and block circulation there. This can cause imminent death if medical care isn’t available immediately. I always recommend taking baby Aspirin daily for about 3-4 days prior to a long flight, to anticoagulate the blood to some extent.

1: Pulmonary Embolism. This is the result of sitting in one position for a long time in an altitude of 35,000 feet. There is no blood circulation taking place, and that can lead to a fatal heart failure.
2: His trip was arranged by an agent/ connection man in Ghana. On arrival at the Canadian airport, the sudden fear of what to say to the Immigration Officer may have triggered a sudden change of heart rhythm, and that could have caused him to collapse and die.
3: Our almighty and ubiquitous “ village people “ who were envious of the opportunity he had got, simply decided to show him where power lay.
4: His own mouth which he didn’t zip up, and announced to everyone that he was flying at last to Aburokyire, could have triggered the fast response from Red-eyed people around him in Ghana.
5: Food poisoning from whatever he ate in the last twenty four hours prior to his arrival in Canada, could have triggered a reaction that caused a heart attack.

Most first time flyers are always glued to their seat because flight fear. The situation becomes worse when the plane encounters turbulence. While the frequent flyers remain silent, the first time flyers will burst into HIRIBABA HIRIBABA BISMILLAH ALLAH HU AKUBARI. As someone suggested, please walk every 2 hours during the flight. All jokes aside, most first time flyers don't eat during the duration of the flight. They arrive dehydrated and the sight of the immigration officers worsen the situation.
