Interestingly we've never heard of this narrative. Maybe some more research needs to be done in order that we can give Issah Kanjaga his due.
Ignorance is no excuse but that's the crux of our problem, y'all are too ignorant and unenlightened!
He was a Muslim and spoke in hausa
@Zionism you are wrong. Speaking hausa does not make one a Moslem. Hausa is merely a language spoken mostly in northern Nigeria and Ghana.
Go to northern Nigeria there are many hausa speaking tribes who are Christians who be ...

My hero! His stance in this deserves recognition and commendation.
History is selectively and subjectively written

Always shifting the goal post; that’s Ghana for you. This is totally nonsense and we shouldn’t encourage this garbage.
Very true. My dad told me the story several years ago. He was in Burma and part of the march to X'borg castle. He even repeated the exact words issah used.
RIP, dad (sunset 2013)
So don't we have any sensible person to name our airport after?
Its time we practice Federalism. This Ga nonsense must stop
Issah Kanjsga was a SERGEANT in the Gold Coast police force. He was not a DSP. Lawyer Anokye should revisit his history lessons and revise his notes.
Yes, the man may have been a sergeant in the Gold Coast Police force, but he did eventually rise through the enlisted ranks to becoming an officer in the Police Service. A check with the Ghana Police archives will shed light ...

God bless this man. An unsung hero indeed. Great lessons for us all
It is normal human behavior, when bad things and good things we tend to focus on the bad things and forget the good. It is nobody's fault, it is psychological
I'm also an old student. Pls which year did you complete?
