Rent laws should benefit both the landlord and the tenant
Waste of time. That approach will not work. We need policies that will force landlords to comply.
Landlords to comply with what? Massa, this is yet another stupid initiative that will uield no positive results!
Remember Ghana abolished control price system and established a trade liberalization policy after adopting the ERP and SAP in the mid 1980s. Government introduced competition and therefore, cannot control pricing anymore.
Government must in the first place role out cost of building materials before that of rent can be talked of.

Nmoa why don't go to Abossey Okai and ask the traders there to register their prices with the Prices Board?
