    The barriers and check-points are where they get their money and now that the IGP has withdrawn them they are threatening to resign. They should be permitted to do so since many qualified ones are ready to work there.

    Gov't should provide the police officers with the requisite logistics to address the security situation. Police personnel should be given the order to shoot at those who approach them with violence.

    The issue is that the state is not ready to provide the needed logistics to these Officers who sacrifice their lives to maintain law and order at conflict areas. We make to much noise as a country but fail to walk out talk.
