They have always been using the Ashanti Region as their political support base, so one would have expected to see wonderful developments taking place in this region when they were in power. Unfortunately, the reverse was the case. All the major projects that anyone would find in the Ashanti Region were all done by the Great Gonja Warrior... John Dramani Mahama, all within his ONE TERM governance! There's absolutely nothing major in the Ashanti Region that our former chimpanzee president... Nana Akuffo Addo did for the people of Kumasi.
