Remember that we are in the digital age of the information highway and technological advancement; we are in the 21st century and heading into the 22nd century, for God's sake; so please stop the foolish blind ethnocentric loyalty and look.at things with open mind, reality and common sense. NPP damaged the economy, damaged the cocoa sector, and left Cocobod with a debt of 32.92 billion cedis, undelivered cocoa beans of 333,000 tons after they had taken the money upfront and squandered it; they were rejected when they went for syndicated loan to finance the purchases of cocoa in the 2023/24 cocoa seasons, the beginning of our woes in financing purchases of cocoa. They borrowed $350 million dollars in addition to 700 million cedis to rehabilitate 156,400 hectares of cocoa, but ended up rehabilitating only 40,000 hectares with the entire money squandered. They used the perchase of jute sacks to perpetrate procurement fraud running into hundreds of millions of dollars. They shortchanged cocoa farmers at a time the price of cocoa was between $10,000 and $12,000 per ton, and the cedi was at 16 cedis to the dollar; the reason NDC promised to pay over 6,000 to the farmer under those conditions. (do the maths). Perhaps, you will come to your senses only when the concurrent forensic audit and criminal investigations are carried out and the thieves fished out; that will surely happen very soon. Ghana is bigger that any political party, and only idiots and brainless zombies will support the criminality of their political party over the national interest. Lies and deceit can never triumph over honesty, truth and truthfulness; NPP will soon be exposed, and Ghanaians, including the farmers, will know who their true enemies are.
