That needs to be done and enforced. In Uncle Sam’s country, it doesn’t take 15 minutes for a broken down vehicle to be towed down to a center at the expense of the owner of the Broken Down vehicle. The longer it takes for the vehicle to be removed from the center, the more the owner will have to pay to the Center.
If vehicles towed down to Centers are not processed and taken to a Mechanic’s shop, the car just gets auctioned at a very cheap price.

Is it because the mandatory police routine control fine for drunk/drive in Ghana is 10ghana cedis and you can drive away to destination until you come across the next Police man and the same routine continues until you get to destination or crash your car and kill/injure innocent people and yourself?

Could this be the journalist/reporter's misrepresentation of what the police might actually have said? To my little knowledge, no where in the world is drunk/drive allowed talk less of the police advising drivers/motorists to be careful in the streets when drunk.
