Those so-called incompetently useless CEOs of state institutions are a very huge burden on state funds monthly. Mahama should use a constitutional instrument to scrap more than half of their salaries, but it is another way of stealing money from government to fund party activities so they can't. Ghana really needs a military rule.

John Mahama is very stupid. Yes, I said that and the reason is, there is something called "Export Duty Share" being part of the proceeds from the international buyers to the sellers no matter what the price of cocoa on the international market.

This money is given to seller outside the normal sales of cocoa on the international market so, if there is a fall in price of cocoa on the international market, the buyer can use money from that export duty share as a buffer to help maintain the price being paid to the farmers.

In 2013-14 cocoa season, when cocoa price fell, Mills then president and his finance minister Kwabena Duffuor, used money from that export duty share to help maintain the producer price just to boost the morale of our farmers so, why can't Mahama do the same rather than reducing the price being paid to our hardworking farmers?

The salary cuts being instituted by cocobod management and senior staff are just foolishness because there is money from the export duty shares that can be used to maintain the producer price of 3,100 cedis being paid to our farmers but NDC is doing the usual dirty politics because Mahama thinks nobody has no idea about this "Export Duty Shares" and the cocoa industry.

NPP should mount a rigid campaign about this cocoa brouhaha to expose Mahama's thievery.
