I can’t get it . Find a retired military general with an affiliation to the NDC and appoint him a defense minister. The NDC does not lack qualified people to be appointed to that post but if there is none, then Mahama should just appoint a suitable successor from the any of the opposition parties. Considering the increase in terrorist activity in our neighboring countries, it is imperative that the country appoints defense minister who has a background in military or security operations.
