Now, I would love you to come out in your eloquent English as to why the Oppostion parties started bombing Kwame Nkrumah in 1955 when Ghana was not even a One Oarty state. The One Party State came about in 1964. Did Nkrumah and the British tell the Odious and Fatuous Danquah Busia Crap that they cannot be leaders in 1955? And, we have clearly seen the immense development and infrastructural projects that Akuffo Addo's leadership left us in 8 years! The universites, colleges, bridges roads, hospitals ,hydro dams etc are a testament of his examplary leadership. What more can we mere mortals such as "Nsia" ask for?

The National Liberation Movement (NLM) bombed the house of Kwame Nkrumah, then Prime Minister of the Gold Coast, on November 10, 1955, as part of a violent campaign to destabilize his government and force the British colonial authorities to delay granting independence. The attack was a culmination of intense political rivalry, with the NLM (backed by the Danquah-Busia opposition) aiming to disrupt the Convention People's Party (CPP) and prevent a unitary government.

Key reasons and context for the 1955 bombing include:

Violent Opposition to Independence: The NLM, which had strong roots in Ashanti, was unhappy with the prospects of independence under Nkrumah's CPP. They resorted to violence and terror acts, including bombings and attacks on CPP members, to make the country ungovernable.

Failed Electoral and Political Tactics: Frustrated by their inability to win elections (particularly after 1951) and the rapid approach of independence, the opposition sought to overthrow the government through violence rather than the ballot box.

Conflict Over Cocoa Prices: A major trigger for the conflict was the decision by the government in 1954 to fix the price of cocoa (which was low), causing significant unrest in Ashanti, the heart of the cocoa-growing region, which the NLM capitalized on.
