  It is not true! That's a big, huge, fat and gargantuan lie. All the gold mines in the country were state-owned and under the umbrella of the State Gold Mining Corporation (SGMC). There is, therefore, no way Ghana would have been buying gold from London. All those gold reserves were stolen after the 1966 coup. Today, GOLDBOD is following in those footsteps to restore Ghanaian ownership of our gold and some unscrupulous people will not let us have our peace. Go get a life.
