Nothing has changed yet at the ADOMI BRIDGE and the media can seek the appropriate Political and Legal permissions to take video pictures of the Bridge and the gap between the Bridge and the river and televised it on the National and other Private Television Channels for Ghanaians to find out if the claim by Efo Julor John Rawlings is possible. Let it be Televised live and make the average honest Ghanaians draw their very own conclusion s.
Any honest Ghanaian my age can attest that Rawlings was a super braggart who did not take any serious part in the June 4th Revolution. It was ADABUGA, AKATAPORE, NKWANTABISA, BOAKYE DJAN and some brave Northern Youthful Military men from the Kumasi Barracks who sacrificed their lives for the Revolution. Rawlings was just driven to the Broadcasting House to make his announcement of the Coup. Doubtful ones among you can ask the surviving men of the Army who carried out the Coups and the Revolution. Rawlings was just a lying damn foolish scammer who played on the intelligence of the youthful Northerners in the Army and made it look like he was the bravest of them all. ADABUGA and ADOMAKO NYAMEKYE and a few Soldiers who were eyewitnesses are still alive

Rawlings was a good Pilot and many Ghanaians had not seen the Helicopter before. Everywhere Rawlings went, he used the Military Helicopter because he was a coward and feared he can be killed if he went by road. Even Boakye Djan who saved Rawlings from a Military Trial warned his brother Kyereme Djan who was playing the fool with some Soldiers that RAWLINGS WAS AN EVIL AND UNFORGIVABLE MAN SO HE SHOULD BE CAREFUL IN ANY ATTEMPT TO OVERTHROW RAWLINGS. Kyereme Djan didn’t pay heed. In the end, Rawlings had him arrested on charges of planning to overthrow his PNDC. In the end, Rawlings did not remember what Boakye Djan did to help and save him from a Military Trial and possible execution. Rawlings had Kyereme Djan Executed. Rawlings was just a horrible ingrate. To all those insulting Air Commodore Pumpuni, the old man is right. If you are doubting him because there is a video showing an aeroplane passing under a bridge, that bridge isn't Adomi. Besides, the Ghana Airforce never ever owned that particular plane. The training-planes owned by the Ghana Airforce are well documented: HT-2, Chipmunk, Beaver, Otter. Then came the Bulldog later, and then the L29 Delphins from Nigeria much much later. That aircraft passing under the bridge was none of the above listed. Besides, that stunt was pulled by a sports pilot most likely. Adomi bridge is a suspension bridge with cables holding the road-deck up by the arc, which wouldn't have allowed the plane to pass through as the General stated. Now, passing between the water and the road deck would have been difficult under Adomi in particular because the gap in between the water and the road is very narrow, which could cause a drag of water into the plane. Now, I am yet to watch the video, but it is sad that people are insulting the General. He is blessed with very old age, very experienced as a pioneer pilot and commissioned officer of the Ghana Airforce in particular and the GHana Armed Forces in general. Almost all his mates are dead. Instead of us listening to him and learning from him, as usual, the uninformed and 'too known' ghanaians are hurling all sorts of invectives at him. Hmm! You people don't know. This man represents PROUD-Ghana. I don't even know what to write. Take it from me that he was right about JJ Rawlings and the Adomi bridge.
