Please ask if that was also the reason Kufuor's Government declined the request to offer Nana Konadu help to have a seriously needed medical intervention in the US.
Very interestingly, during the whole National Reconciliation Commission's enquiry, the ONLY question Rawlings was asked was about whether or not he had the videotape recording of his interview with Joachim Amartey Kwei confessing. So, all the agitations, lies, obfuscated viewpoints on Rawlings reduced to just a question!

Very recently, a journalist of a radio station, and Ashanti himself, boldly stated "You must be a mad person to do what Kufuor did to Ghana", and you don't need to be smart recognize the absolute veracity in this.

Kufuor's blessing was Rawlings. Without the august charismatic military leader, Kufuor would never have been president. Kufuor the thief lied his way into the Presidency of Ghana making Ghanaians believe he would instantly commit Jerry John to jail. Kufuor, who isn't naturally smart, and has difficulty finding words when he speak, knew Rawlings' integrity even before accepting to work with him. He could only therefore create a subterfuge and cloudy to pretext to the presidency.

Tried as he did in order to find a base to perpetuate NPP's stealing spree, he had to contract South Africans and the British and added the impotent Kwaku Ananse Baako for money-wasting frolic, the fake mission to go looking for Rawlings' hypothetically stashed loot in European Banks. Evil Kweku Baako came back like a ghost in the thick of the night and never hitherto, talked about that crazy mission. He pocketed the cash he made.

It wasn't because Kufuor himself believed Rawlings actually looted; it was a make-believe situation so people would think he Kufuor made an effort, even when Rawlings kept repeating it was very lately that Atta Mills advised him to have a foreign account.

The chronic waste of resources during Ghana@50 and the ugly construction at the Flagstaff House alone could have catered for 5 state-of-the-art hospitals in Ghana at the time those events occurred, and we're not talking about all the other monumental theft cases during John Agyekum Diawuo Kufuor presidential mandate, the person who facilitated the excessive importation of guns into the Ashanti Region from Israel.
