The school culture must change. I don't think KNUST have trained academic counselors. These are young people and they require social support for poor behaviour or academic performance. Most of these deviant behavior emanates from the students culture they met on campus after enrolment and the way to curb it is not dismissal. Unfortunately, we only see punishment such rastication as the only means to correct such wrongs. In my opinion the schools must visit the best practices in institutions abroad to correct the worse campus life here.

University authorities in Ghana are autocratic and visionless just intimidating students. Go to University of Ghana for example Commonwealth Hall has been shut down because the female Vice Chancellor carry so much the hall.
