Okay, if I may ask? Can Traditional African Religious worshippers also ask for National Holidays? Our leaders are sometimes not reasonable enough. When Traditional Religious Believers also ask for Public Holidays, we should not grind our teeth. I have worked in Uncle Sam’s country for many decades and have seen that they don’t have that many Public Holidays. My wife worked at a very large multimillion company in the USA. Christmas is not Public Holiday in Uncle Sam’s country. You have no option but to go to work. You can’t continue to be taking Christmas, Easter and Moslem Holidays and expect your company to pay or maintain you when it has to meet productivity and contract agreements. It doesn’t happen here. Take such Religious Holidays and you shall be fired. In some states, besides Racial Discrimination which is taken very seriously, one has no right to work. The company can let you go if there is low productivity and can’t meet contracts. I am waiting for Traditional Religious Worshippers to also ask for National Religious Holidays and let us see and hear what others shall say. I wish some Traditional Priests and worshippers can request for such a right as Christians and Moslems have now. In such a situation, I know some HOLIER THAN THOU CHRISTIANS AND MOSLEMS ARE GOING TO FIGHT THAT SUCH REQUESTS ARE DEVILISH. I am a Christian and have studied Islamic and Traditional Religion of Africans for years and can say that they are more honest and trustworthy and truthful than the rest. Yes. Let them also ask for a National Holiday. Then those who have no Religion can also ask for a National Holiday for not belonging to any Religion. Let us make Ghana a country of Religious Holidays. Let the Government not pay all people who don’t go to work during such religious holidays and let us see whether Ghanaians like those holidays or not. Don’t blame Mahama for this because Christians have Easter and Christmas holidays whose celebrations have got nothing to do with Christianity. Yes, the Nations of Churches and Mosques and Religious noisemakers. Go to any Developed country and see if you can go to the church or mosques, pray loudly, drum loudly with Speakers and see how your Place of Worship will be sued and fall into bankruptcy. You can’t disturb people when they have just come from work and have to have a little nap to go to work in a few hours time. You shall be given a Police Ticket for playing the music in your vehicle to disturb Passerby people or the neighbors and neighborhood. If such antisocial behavior goes on, your Driving License and its Privileges will be suspended or revoked.
