  Ghanaba,every bag of flour that was imported was levied and the amount paid to Naa Dedei who inturn takes her share and pays the balance into CPP coffers.Naa Dedei accompanied Osagyefo on an official visit to Ho and were received at the Residence, tea was served and upon taking a sip complained of stomach ache and was rushed to the central hospital but died on the way.Poisoned right in front of Osagyefo.Her family was stopped from performing an autopsy and a funeral for her.Her funeral was held only after the overthrow of Nkrumah.She did not marry and had no children.The double decker buses which used ply Accra streets were named after her.It appears she dealt with forces within CPP she could not comprehend with some even believing that she was Nkrumah's concubine.So to those who don't know their history and don't read,opposition 'matter no dey inside this one na inside job'.
