Even though I think that the screaming and squirming at every turn by the NPP should be largely ignored by the current NDC govt, I also think that whichever way one looks at it, the private company of a Deputy Chief of Staff at the Presidency winning a juicy contract at another state institution, does not look good. In fact it stinks. I cannot believe that Stan Dogbes company cannot lobby for a similar or better contract in the private sector - in which case, no suspicions would arise. Then again, Stan Dogbe should clearly decide whether he wants to do business or be in govt. He cannot, as the old saying goes, use his two eyes to look into one hole.

Thus far, Ofosu Kwakye has done marvelously well as the communications capo at the Presidency but his position on this matter suggests to me that he is getting a bit rusty.

If he's still an active owner of the company, isn't that a conflict of interest when his company engages in bidding of government assets or products while he remains a member of the administration?
