  Very soon the policy rate will be reduced to zero but nothing will change. It's either the models they are using at the Bank of Ghana are wrong or the banks are exploiting Ghanaians. In other countries when for example the Fed Reserve reduces the rates, the financial sector responds - interest rate, mortgage rates all decline. We almost at single digit policy rate, inflation is single digit but why is nothing changing?
