Honorary doctorate is a symbolic title; you can have 200 of them but you can only be called Dr. (once but not 200x Dr.) It is not an academic qualification for professional or teaching roles. Mahama already has an honorary doctorate (hence his title Dr. Mahama). A few more 'pile-on' honorary doctorates from other universities doesn't hurt but he will still remain Dr. Mahama. BTW, if he is a Nigerian then, he can start call himself Dr. Dr. Dr...Mahama depending on the number of 'pile-on' doctorates he has acquires. LOL!
