HE SHOULD JUST FOCUS ON RECOVERING EMOTIONALLY WHICH MEANS LEARNING TO RESPECT HIMSELF, REFUSING TO GROVEL AND HUMILIATE HIMSELF BY TRYING TO CONTACT THE LADY OR RE-ESTABLISH THIS HARMFUL RELATIONSHIP. HE MUST HAVE A CLEAN BREAK WITH THIS WOMAN IF HE WANTS TO RECOVER QUICKLY AND MOVE ON WITH HIS LIFE. To do this he will need to permanently stop all contacts (Texts, WhatsApp, emails, phone calls etc) and if necessary, move to another town. Even if the lady returned, she would simply resume her disrespectful, abusive and self-centred behaviour and cause him even greater harm. SHE WAS CLEARLY USING HIM.SHE WAS ONLY INTERESTED IN WHAT HE COULD OFFER RATHER THAN WHAT HE IS AS A PERSON.
ABOVE ALL HE SHOULD AVOID RUSHING INTO ANOTHER RELATIONSHIP OR DROWNING HIS SORROWS IN ALCOHOL OR DRUGS. Sadly, many men and women make this terrible mistake and truly mess up their lives. It is far better if necessary to wait for a few years to meet the right person than rush to rush to connect with the first available person that comes your way.
The best thing he can do is to take his problems to the God of Heaven. The book of Psalms is full of words of great comfort and encouragement for the broken-hearted, the discouraged, the downtrodden, the despised and ostracised. What has happened to him is invaluable life experience even though it is very painful for him now. IT IS FAR BETTER TO HAVE A BREAK AT AN EARLY STAGE IN THESE DANGEROUS ROMANTIC RELATIONSHIP THAN TO HAVE A BREAK WHEN YOU ARE MARRIED AND CHILDREN ARE INVOLVED. THE EMOTIONAL, PSYCHOLOGICAL AND FINANCIAL COST THEN WOULD BE FAR GREATER.
One day this young man will look back at the whole experience and laugh over his own foolish infatuation with this opportunistic and manipulative woman.
ALL THOSE GOING THROUGH A SIMILAR EXPERIENCE SHOULD GET THEIR COMFORT FROM THE BIBLE.DAILY PERSONAL BIBLE SYUDY IS ALWAYS A GOOD START.GOING TO CHURCH TO LISTEN TO SOME “PROPHET” OR “MAN OF GOD “BY ITSELF IS NOT ENOUGH. THOSE WHO WANT TO GROW AND MATURE SPIRITUALLY MUST MAKE THE TIME DAILY FOR THEIR OWN BIBLE STUDY AND PRAYER BY THEMSELVES AT HOME.
WHATEVER YOU VALUE YOU WILL MAKE TIME FOR. IF YOU WANT TO LOOK VERY FIT PHYSICALLY YOU WILL DEVOTE TIME FOR REGULAR EXERCISE OR GO TO A GYM REGULARLY. THE SAME IS TRUE FOR SPIRITUAL FITNESS- IT STARTS FIRST AT HOME THROUGH REGULAR BIBLE STUDY ANE PRAYER AND LIVING IN OBEDIENCE TO THE SCRIPTURES AT HOME,AT WORK AND IN PUBLIC.
