Asamoah should always be grateful to his midfielders. He had Ghana's best midfield in history in Stephen, Essen, Muntari, Laryea and Kwadwo. If he were clinical like Drogba or Etoo, his tally at the World Cups and for Ghana in total would have been much higher. Truth is he was an okay or average striker and not exceptional. He should be thankful indeed.
