The problem as usual with local farm produce is how competitive the prices are as compared to imported rice. The government needs to intervene with subsidies for the inputs like fertilizers, seeds and pesticides.

Congratulations Kwame Awuah Darko for the big rice farm in Nobi in Akyem Tafo.You are feeding us with the rice and also offering employment to the unemployed youth.
This is laudable. It should be replicated for tomato farming, so that we have year round tomato production, and stop relying on Bourkina Faso.
