I thought NOBI is in Akyim Tafo, just a few miles away from the Cooca Research Institute of Ghana ( GRIG )
Can someone please enlighten me.
The Afram Plains is wide and Nobi, close to CRIG is part
The Afram plains, Nobi and CRIG are in the same place just like I and my father and Holy Spirit are one.
Mahatma please minimize importation of food that can be produced by our own people to feed ourselves
Depending on imported basic food is very disgraceful as a sovereign nation
Shouldn’t this article come with pictures?
Does your eyes hate beautiful graphics that much?
Probably you need a Mahama care for a special eye service.
Our president should also visit cocoa farms to encourage them them not to give up cocoa farming because he has reduced the producer price of cocoa.
He has reduced wo maame twe not cocoa price. Go to Ivory Coast and see what is happening on the Cocoa sector. Fool

At last some real good news for the development of Ghana. Thanks to all involved.
The problem as usual with local farm produce is how competitive the prices are as compared to imported rice. The government needs to intervene with subsidies for the inputs like fertilizers, seeds and pesticides.

Congratulations Kwame Awuah Darko for the big rice farm in Nobi in Akyem Tafo. You are feeding us with the rice and also offering employment to the unemployed youth.
This is laudable. It should be replicated for tomato farming, so that we have year round tomato production, and stop relying on Bourkina Faso.
Kwame Awuah Darko is a member of the NDC and a business man so next time GhanaWeb state the right credentials.
Ghanaweb.com is an NPP mouthpiece. But why do you look everything through party lenses?
You should've said the same thing at the Nkokonkitinkiti launch when the President was hosted by Chicken Man, a well known NPP sympathizer. Ditch you rabid politics and embrace nationalism kakra wai.
@Horizon, yes Kwame Awuah Darko is NDC, what has this got to do with his farming unless you want to say he stole State funds as a Politician to farm. The farm did not start just yesterday, it has being in existence even under ...

To politicians, please channel all looted money into large scale agriculture, not fleet of cars, mansions and side chicks.

Congratulations Kwame. I hope and pray that other Ghanaians will for follow suit. We have to be self sufficient in rice, poultry, fish, vegetables and fruits production. Those stopping us from importing tomatoes are encourag ...
