  Let us spend our energies on problems facing Ghana by soliciting development and innovative ideas and ideals on from Ghanaians, irrespective of education level, tribe or political party affiliation before doing anything to our rather unsustainable education system and its free SHS scheme.
  
  Dr. Apaak, should look to history and he will learn that the fight by initiated by some African presidents in the 1950's through the 1960's including our own Kwame Nkrumah failed and continue to fail because there is nothing worse than a self-hating man or woman. Why do we have ECOWAS if a robust, effective and efficient OAU/AU had been achieved by well meaning and Africa-loving leaders?
  
  So, I say let us develop Ghana to parallel development and employment opportunities in Singapore/Malaysia, the Korea's and other non-Aligned nations that started with Kwame Nkrumah's Ghana. We do not have to reinvent the education modernization wheels in Ghana; there are plenty of models from the USA through EU nations like Germany to bring the rather past due drastic changes to our education system.
  
  For starters, MP's must not shy away from modifying the free SHS scheme; if rich nations where we go begging for loans to help Ghana are engageg in the use of means-testing for free education then what says we in Ghana? Not every child in US, UK, Canada and other nations go to school free of charge. Why should Ghana allow a generation of lazy, selfish and ungrateful parents who would rather see their school age children receive mediocre education than sacrifice to provide good quality education for their children become a norm for all?
  
  Diverge pupils based on their knowledge/intellectual, skills, desire and wishfull thinking at the middle school/JSS level so that pupils well versed in the use of their hands, ingenuity, foresight and entrepreneural spirit get going while those who love titles pursue their dreams.
  
  I believe that the idea and ideal behind a national womens bank should help us also setup a well funded banking institution that will provide strict testing and validation of youth with viable and sustainable entrepreneural ideas to help us grow private employment opportunities via a better education system, Dr. Apaak
