Academia in Ghana lost their integrity to money or politics long ago. That informed, logical reasoning and advocacy is long gone. What we have now is a twisting and turning of points to catch the attention of a particular party for future favours in appointment and so forth. It started around the time of the former president J J Rawlings.
At a time it became clear to him so one can see the contempt with which he views some of them.
It has since almost become the norm as they have lost all sense of shame and it is not one person in particular. A whole bunch of them. Being enticed by the easy and quick riches those in it earlier are making.
