  Can someone remove these two ego infected chairperson and ranking member from the committee? They are good for nothing. Abena Asare is so arrogant and very disrespectful. I pity her husband if she has one Their banter with Agbana was very shameful as committee leaders. Agbana was 100% right. He asked a very sensible question. I do not know what they were trying to cover. Posterity will judge them.

  Totally wrong reportage. Specialise on public financial management reporting. The Ministry responded categorically that the auditors were wrong and misinformed in treating the amount as outstanding claims or liabilities. This was accepted by PAC. They explained that as at 31st Dec 2024 the only commitments and payables submitted to MoF by the Ministry on request as liabilities was a total of 2.7 million cedis, which the Audit report validated. The Ministry had explained what the 91m BTAs was meant for (advances) backed by documents but request expired uncommitted unrealeased at the end of 2024. It could therefore not be treated by the auditors as arrears "rejected" because the only outstanding outstanding payables presented to MoF was the 2.7m as confirmed by the auditors themselves. No arrears/debts were submitted by the Ministry for payment for it to be rejected.
