  Spio-Garbrah has been in the political spotlight for sometime without blemish and I wish he contests for the presidency one day . He also must be considered for the vice President slot in the future.

  The kings most heavily involved in slave raiding and trading were Osei Tutu (c. 1695–1717), Opoku Ware (ruled c. 1720–1750), Osei Kwadwo (c. 1764–1777), Osei Kwame (1777–1801), and Osei Bonsu (c. 1801–1824).
  
  Osei Tutu established the empire and, by controlling all gold fields by the 1700s, used wealth to acquire firearms that facilitated territorial expansion and the capture of prisoners for the slave trade.
  
  Opoku Ware expanded the kingdom to cover most of Ghana and oversaw the peak of the empire's involvement in the transatlantic slave trade, supplying captives to British and Dutch traders in exchange for weapons.
  
  Osei Bonsu continued the trade until 1807, when Great Britain outlawed the slave trade, which subsequently crippled the Asante economy and led to conflict over the Fante territory.
  
  From the beginning of the 18th century, these monarchs supplied enslaved people to British and Dutch traders on the coast, using the resulting firearms to enforce further territorial expansion and maintain the empire's dominance.

  Is only a fool who will believe that Africans were also involved in the slave trade given what the perpetrators can write in history to defend themselves one day which we experience till date. Their lies is beyond understanding. Many dots can never be well connected when it comes to European written history against Africans to the extent that we Africans were even denied to be humans. Stop believing the hype.
