How many were produced locally in the Asamoah Gyan, Michael Essien and Sulley Ali Muntari, etc., etc., squad which nearly clinched the AFCON?
Foreign born players, foreign coach will never take us far enough until we wise up to build and improve and sharpen our own brand or style of play.

Calling players from the whole world and prepare them 3days for a match is stupid and dumb. In 1982 Coach CK Gyamfi assembled player from Kotoko and Hassaccas as the core and like 63 and 65 won. Germany used Bayern Munich as the core and Germany won and Italy relying on AC Milan and Juventus won lots of matches because the chemistry was there. Ghana'a 2010 graduated from the under 16 and played together until 2014. The olden days were better.
