Bono, Akuapem, Akyem, Fante, Kwahu, Ahafo, Denkyira, Akwamu, Nzema, Ahanta, Sefwi, Aowin, Gyaman, Assin, some Gomoa-Awutu-Afutu, parts of Oti, parts of Krachi, Chokosi combine to create a massive percentage of nearly 55% to 60% land mass, population, natural resources in Ghana. But because of their greed, disunity and who is who infighting, Ewes will join Northerners with some Ga-Adangbe, Kusuntu, Moshie, Gao, Yoruba, Wangara, Kotokoli, Hausa, Fulani to rule the country forever. This is not possible anywhere in the world except in Ghana, all because Ashanti cannot deal with their Akan cousins at same level. As a matter of fact, political interests and factions in many nations in Asia, Europe and America do that. In Canada, the majority English are together against the minority French. Spain, Russia, Belgium, Switzerland, Untied Kingdom and others have the same pattern whereby the majority have more say. What he wrote is precisely the picture we see in Ghana i.e.the majority group fails to galvanise political power because of their fragmentation. When I visited the town last year, the town has not developed a bit since I stopped teaching there. All most of the men in the town know is drinking and abusing Palm Wine while they rent their lands and farms to the Krobo and Anlo Ewe people who end up taking the lands and farms for good. Akuffo Addo is from that Traditional area and he can be asked if I am being truthful with my postage. I am being honest.
Anyway, Akuffo Addo is not from Kibi town itself. He is from a village on the way to Kibi Apapam which did not have any tarred roads and Street lights until he became the President of Ghana. And do Ghanaians know that Kibi is an old Traditional Paramountcy but did not even have a Tap water even though the Birim river (which has been very much polluted by Galamsay flows right behind ABUSCO and KITCO.)
