I don’t subscribe to Fuel subsidies because once the fuel prices in Ghana becomes very lower as compared to neighboring countries, it leads to smuggling of Petroleum products to neighboring countries.

I don’t subscribe to Fuel subsidies because once the fuel prices in Ghana becomes very lower as compared to neighboring countries, it leads to smuggling of Petroleum products to neighboring countries.
During the time of Efo Julor John Rawlings when the Price of Fuel were lower than our neighboring countries, some Drivers just filled the Gas tanks of their vehicles near the border towns and just crossed to our neighboring countries and sell them for profit. Drivers just filled their vehicles from places like Aflao and Bawku and take the fuel out when they arrived at Lome or Burkina Faso and sold them out. So, in effect, Ghana was subsidizing the Fuel prices of our neighbors. Let the prices of Fuel just as exactly as sold at our neighboring states to prevent smuggling.
The war in the Middle East is making Fuel prices to rise everywhere in the World so it will not be profitable for Ghana to subsidize the Price of Fuel.

Afenyo Markin the demonic architect of the smelling NPP should know that Ghana was there before he was born. NPP has now realised that they can no longer deceive GHANAIANS. Very soon the Ashantis and the Akyems will vote massively for the NDC. Only those still living in the stone age will vote or belong to the NPP the Akuffo Addo's thievery party. Shame unto you.
