The child should not be made to suffer because of the utterances of the mother. I know that Florida and Texas do not allow that.
The man should just ignore the mother of the child and continue to take very good care of the child. The child should not be made to suffer because of the silly utterances of the mother.

If at birth, the person who signed the certificate is the man, and he accepted responsibility, it would take the only the courts to reverse that, assuming someone else, or the lady changes her mind and want the child given to someone else. This is because the child is legally his through the birth certification (And he's responsible for the care of that child by force) and the child can't be taken away on a fiat lux bases, just like that.

What is good for the goose is also good for the gander. My gender has been pinning kids that don't belong to men for aeons. To hell with this DNA nonsense. In France it is illegal for a man. In the US, the man who accepted and signed on the birth certificate of the child is the father regardless of later DNA revelation. They know my gender well.
