It’s sad that we see this as being a secondary matter and would do anything and everything to justify a moral canker. If the once respected voice and conscience of society will now find reason to justify and promote economic growth at the expense of moral decadence then, this leaves much to be desired.
Don’t you think that economic growth is as equally important as morality? Which father thinks only of providing for his kids without thinking about their moral upbringing? In any case, who are the targets for an enhance economic life? The very same people whose moral upbringing you are calling to be shielded are the beneficiaries.
A careful read of the communique will expose one to the truths of upholding what was said to be essential in 2024 in the same regard in 2026.
I least expected that you would wear your academic lens instead of your cassock. The GCBC have spoken, we await what the Anglican Communion and other Christian groups will say.
