The Police Service became a political tool during the tenure of Akuffo Addo's regime. He with his previous IGP promoted some Senior Police Officers every three years and ignored those Chief Inspectors who suffered for several years to keep the Service going. Most of those unscrupulous and undeserving so-called Senior Police Officers rather become a burden on the IGP. The IGP should concentrate on the old hands rather than those azaa biys who were enlisted into the Service through that " porotocol" means. Everybody is watching the the strong and vibrant IGP.

All officers deserve a good decent salary, and ALWAYS pay them in a timely manner to avoid bribery. If they are caught in bribery matters, immediately they should be demoted. We need them to keep us all regulated and safe.
