Some iconic Ghanaian footballers were in attendance as the 2026 Milo U-13 Champions League was officially launched at Nestlé Ghana’s head office in Accra on April 18, 2026.

The event featured legendary players such as Stephen Appiah, Asamoah Gyan, and other notable personalities who graced the occasion.

Sixteen basic schools from across all regions of Ghana will compete for the newly unveiled Milo U-13 Champions League trophy.

Managing Director of Nestlé Ghana, Salomé Azevedo, speaking at the event, emphasised the broader impact of the competition beyond football.

She noted that the return of the tournament marks a new era in youth development and will help nurture future sporting talents in Ghana.

“Football speaks a language everyone understands. It brings people together and helps children discover their potential. Beyond the thrill of the match, the game instils lasting values, including confidence and resilience. After the successful comeback of the Milo U-13 Champions League, we have witnessed renewed passion for the tournament,” she said.

The 2026 edition of the Milo U-13 Champions League will take place from April 20 to 25, 2026, at the Essipong Stadium, where young players will compete for glory and showcase their football talents.
