Commonsensically, having compromised lawyer to represent you is as grevious as hiring another lawyer for your opposing party fight you.

Though the AG is statutory the sole legal representation of the state, it is also ethically wrong to have a legal representation who turns to be a beneficiary of suit against you.

In other words, the fact that AG is the beneficiary of the plaintiff action against the OSP makes them automatically unqualified to represent the OSP. This is what Martin himself once called "Gigantuan Create, loot and share" And I wonder why he is defending the supreme Court in this nonsensical ruling.

In nutshell, there is no judicial decision better than common sense. And most especially coming from the Apex Court who themselves are quasi law makers.

I am not an authority in Ghanaian jurisprudence but one needs not be a Certified Lawyer to criticize something about the Legal System in Ghana just like Efo Julor John Rawlings said once that I don’t need someone to tell me that I am hungry. Even if the said Prempeh is not qualified to be a Practicing Lawyer, he still has some sense to criticize the Government and the Judiciary if things are not going on right. That is just Common Sense. Gone are the days when some people monopolized who should go to the Ghana Law School and who should come out with which Grades or Class. Many Ghanaians of my age know what I am talking about. Let us use Common Sense and stop being too much BOOKLONG.

As a lawyer, I find Martin Amidu's pronouncement very unprofessional. You can disagree with principles and opinions, but you should not say that a professor of law is therefore unqualified to practise law in Ghana. On the basis of etiquette and courtesy alone, Mr Amidu has gone too far. As a matter of courtesy, even if someone is telling you a ridiculous story or one that seems like a big lie, don't give them a suspicious look that says, 'You're lying to me.' In my opinion, it is shameful and insulting for Mr Amidu to say that to Prof. Prempeh. Yet Mr Amidu is an astute lawyer and former Attorney General of Ghana.

Martin Amidu points out why it was not possible under the constitution of Ghana to do so. Prof Prempeh was the man who chaired the Constitutional Review Committee recently. I am afraid the report churned out would be full of flaws laced with foul language. I suggest the government gets some legal luminaries to review the document he presented to the government. Its worth

Amidu is busy quoting laws of other countries, showing potential knowledge of the said countries but does practice there or is he qualified to practice there..,nope!! This is public knowledge!! You made a good point about the CSOs but your attack on Prempeh is cheap and pedestrian…infact Amidu insulted himself because he also comments on laws of other countries!! Btw one does not need to be a practicing lawyer to apply to join a suit/case of interest!!
